Teaneck, N.J. -- Another all-star game ended in a tie last night, but when you're considered the No.1 guard in the junior class, a tie is as good as a loss.
Stoudemire's road from his hometown, Lake Wales, to Cypress Creek was a long and winding one. But he made the most of his one season of high school basketball in Florida. He averaged 29.1 points, 15 rebounds and 6.1 blocks and was voted Florida's Mr. Basketball. He appears destined for the NBA.
Darius Washington proved that he is not only a very good freshman, but a very good player. His game and mental toughest was tested against some of the state’s top players and he passed with flying colors.
