Monday, September 29, 2008 Washington joins Bulls pre-season By admin @ 10:44 AM :: 194 Views :: 3 Comments :: :: Professional 2006 - Present   Bulls add three to training camp roster reprinted from Bulls.com September 27, 2008 – In preparation for the 2008.09 NBA season, the Chicago Bulls will start training camp on Monday, Sept. 29 with their annual Media Day beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheri L. Berto Center (550 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, Ill.). On Friday, the team announced three additions to its roster for training camp: forward/center Elton Brown (6-9 | 250 | 09/09/83 | Virginia | rookie), forward Roger Powell (6-6 | 225 | 01/15/83 | Illinois | 1 year experience), and guard Darius Washington (6-2 | 185 | 12/06/85 | Memphis | 1 yr. exp.). Chicago’s first practice will get under way on Tuesday, Sept. 30 with a two-a-day practice session set for 10:00-11:30 a.m., and again from 4:30-7:00 p.m. The two-a-day practice sessions will continue through Saturday, Oct. 4. The Bulls will tip-off their eight-game preseason schedule on Thursday, Oct. 9 at the United Center when they host the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. Chicago will then travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 10 to take on the Indiana Pacers at 6:00 p.m. (CT). Other preseason contests include: vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (Oct. 14), vs. Utah Jazz (Oct. 17 in Champaign, Ill), vs. Utah Jazz (Oct. 18), at Dallas Mavericks (Oct. 21), at Minnesota Timberwolves (Oct. 22) and vs. Milwaukee Bucks (Oct. 24). The team will then tip-off the regular season on Oct. 28 at the United Center against Milwaukee. Tickets for every Chicago Bulls home game will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 at the United Center Box Office, Ticketmaster locations, online at Bulls.com or by calling 1.800.4NBA.TIX. For season tickets, 11-Game Plans or groups, call 312.455.4000 and ask for a Ticket Representative.
