Very Interested Fan

Darius... Hope all is well in Europe. Greece is a beautiful place (in the summer). While I was in Millington, I became a big fan of yours and enjoyed going to most of the Tiger's games. I have kept track of your progress in becoming a Professional Ball Player (congrats) and have enjoyed the updates. I would also to be curious to hear about your personal struggles without such optimism. It is very rare for young men to have your ability and drive in order to continue with your desire to be a NBA Player. The reality of it is the struggle, which very few people understand. Most people in society are blind to this and the pursuit is solely subjective and dependant on the individual who experiences it.

You always seem to be a very productive and a completely genuine person while in the public eye during your days at Memphis. If you would please enchant me with your experiences so I may help young athletes succeed in their own ventures. I am sure you have heard it a hundred times over and it is just because everyone wants you to successful in every endeavor you take on. Are you still pursuing a degree? What are your life long plans and desires after basketball?

My life has led me down many different paths and soon I will be leaving my family once again to head down another road. My family sacrifices more than I do each time I take another road and I really hope that it is worth it in the long run of life. That is what I keep telling myself. The whole point of this is purely selfish on my part. It is reliving glory from years past through the eyes of others. Inspiring, setting goals and readjusting when necessary (flexibility).

Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you in the near future.
